At Kaizen Ink & Barbering, every tattoo begins with the client’s vision. When designing a custom piece—whether for a tattoo or a commissioned artwork—I start by discussing the general concept and subject matter. From there, I develop a design that reflects the client’s ideas while allowing room for artistic flow and creativity.

Organic Bio Designs
When creating organic bio designs, the process stays true to its name, free-flowing and naturally evolving. These pieces often take inspiration from bone and shell-like structures, blending sharp and smooth edges to create contrast and movement. Each design develops its own life throughout the process and is often applied using freehand techniques, allowing the piece to be uniquely sculpted to the body or canvas.

Surrealism
In surrealist work, I enjoy combining softer imagery, such as feminine faces, with rougher or more abstract elements in the background and surrounding composition. This contrast creates balance between different visual elements and concepts, resulting in a cohesive piece that flows naturally with the body.

Japanese-Inspired Tattooing
I’ve always had a deep respect for Japanese culture, art, and tattoo traditions. Their approach to designing with the body in mind is a foundational principle of tattooing. When creating Japanese-inspired pieces, I draw from traditional references, the client’s ideas, and my own artistic inspiration to honor the spirit of the style while delivering a unique and personalized interpretation.

At Kaizen Ink & Barbering, each haircut begins with a conversation. I focus on your preferences and concerns while combining timeless inspiration from classic 1950s barbering with today’s modern fade techniques. Although I’m skilled in a wide range of styles, I’m especially known for my straight razor fades—delivering clean, precise results with professionalism and style every time.
